Cruising Comfort: The Chaparral 277 SSX

We recently received and unloaded a brand new 2013 Chaparral 277 SSX...

...and we are very excited to show it off. Why? This boat is made for grown up comfort - but it still looks like and handles like a sporty boat.

Let's start at the front. The adult-sized bow in the Chaparral 277 SSX is wide and comfortable, providing plenty of seating for your friends. There is, of course, a cooler up there too so you can keep your drinks cold right where you are.

Back in the cockpit, a removeable table gives you flexibility - you can have a gathering with food back there if you'd like, and keep that table out of the way when you don't want it. In addition, there is a ton of storage back here, so you have plenty of space for all of your gear (and entertaining essentials!). There is also a lot of seating - your typical bucket seats as well as lots of plush bench seating.

Want to see it in action right now? Watch this video from Chaparral.

The one we have in stock has the following specs: Roulette Red wide band hull, V-8 (380 hp) Volvo DP, VHT Vacuflush head, filler cushion package, premium sound system upgrade w/amp & subwoofer, snap in carpet, stainless steel transom shower, swim platform logo mat, transom tilt switch and stereo remote, Garmin 720 GPS, polished SS anchor, auto fire extinguishing system, radar arch (white), trim tabs w/indicator lights, windlass w/200 ft line & 30 ft chain, underwater lights, bow and cockpit covers, premium package, custom trailer

What do you think of this boat? Is it your perfect combination of comfort and sport?
